Eight-Day Ghana Real Estate Investment Experience Will Showcase Prime Greater Accra Neighborhoods, Private Estates, Development Opportunities and Financial Resources Before a Four-Day Cultural Immersion

ACCRA, GHANA — August 17, 2026 — A select group of distinguished Black American investors, entrepreneurs and business professionals will travel to Ghana this August for the Fiscally Fabulous® Real Estate Investment Tour & Mastermind Ghana 2026, an immersive eight-day investment experience designed to introduce participants to Ghana’s rapidly evolving real estate market while creating opportunities for business connections, investment education and wealth building across borders.

Led by USA-based real estate attorney, investor, creative financing strategist and entrepreneur Dr. Teresa R. Martin, Esq., founder of REIA NYC and Fiscally Fabulous®, the tour will take place in Accra and the Greater Accra Region from August 20–27, 2026, following the group’s arrival in Ghana.

The exclusive experience is designed for serious investors and entrepreneurs seeking firsthand knowledge of Ghana’s property market rather than simply viewing real estate opportunities from abroad.

According to the agenda, during the intimate and highly personalized investment portion of the journey, participants will visit a range of established and emerging communities throughout Greater Accra, including Cantonments, Airport Residential Area, East Legon, Bukom, Osu, Spintex Road, Dzorwulu, Ridge, Prampram and other strategic real estate corridors. The itinerary is designed to provide investors with exposure to different segments of Ghana’s property market — from luxury residences, condominiums and apartments to gated communities, private homes, emerging developments and optional land opportunities.

The program provides participants with an opportunity to see firsthand how residential communities are being developed outside Accra’s traditional prime neighborhoods and how expats have successfully invested and relocated to establish themselves in the country of Ghana.

The tour goes beyond property sightseeing, as participants will attend special breakfast presentations, investment information sessions, professional meetings and private property tours featuring prominent real estate professionals, developers, attorneys, banking officials, immigration representatives, an enlightening hospital tour, and other industry specialists who can provide insight into the process of investing and establishing a presence in Ghana.

A central component of the experience, these sessions are intended to help participants better understand financing, property acquisition, legal considerations, immigration pathways, development, construction and the practical realities of investing in Ghana.

The timing of the tour comes as Ghana continues to experience significant demand for housing and urban development.  According to Ghana News Agency, Ghana’s government estimates the country’s housing deficit at more than 1.8 million units, while more than half of the population now lives in urban areas. Government projections indicate that the urban share could rise to more than 72 percent by 2050, placing continued pressure on housing markets in metropolitan areas such as Accra.

Ghana’s 2026–2029 medium-term development plan also states that private-sector investment currently accounts for more than 60 percent of housing provision in urban Ghana, highlighting the important role investors and developers play in addressing the country’s housing needs, according to the Ghana Ministry of Works, Housing, and Water Resources.

The broader construction industry represents a substantial part of Ghana’s economy. The U.S. Department of Commerce estimates Ghana’s construction sector at approximately $8 billion, accounting for more than 15 percent of annual GDP in recent years and employing approximately 420,000 people, reports Ghana’s International Trade Administration.

Ghana’s overall economy also expanded by 6 percent in 2025, compared with 5.8 percent in 2024, according to the Ghana Statistical Service and Accra remains at the center of much of this activity. Current 2026 property-market data shows significant movement in residential property prices, although prices vary substantially by neighborhood, property type and development quality. Ghana Property Centre reported a median listing price of approximately GH₵1.6 million for houses in Accra Metropolitan in June 2026, representing a 59.7 percent year-over-year increase in its tracked listings.

Prime neighborhoods such as Cantonments, Airport Residential and East Legon continue to attract investors, expatriates, corporate tenants and members of the Ghanaian diaspora. Market research identifies these areas as among Accra’s most established residential investment locations, while Spintex Road and areas farther east provide exposure to emerging and comparatively lower-cost development corridors, repots propertyghana.net.

Following the eight-day real estate experience, participants will have the opportunity to continue their Ghana journey with a four-day cultural extension, providing a deeper look at the country’s history, heritage and contemporary culture. The cultural program will include experiences in Accra and Cape Coast, including guided city exploration, traditional markets and visits connected to Ghana’s historic coastal heritage. The official program also highlights Cape Coast and Elmina, the historic castles and dungeons, Kakum National Park and a fishing-village immersion as part of the cultural experience.

Together, the real estate and cultural components are intended to give participants a broader understanding of Ghana — not simply as a destination, but as a place where international relationships, entrepreneurship, property investment and cultural heritage intersect.
